Animal Farm

Animal Farm, by George Orwell is a novel that is a great illusion to the Russian Revolution. One perticular quote stood apart from the rest, and it was in the first chapter of the entire book. The quote reads:

Man is the only real enemy we have. Remove Man from the scene, and the root cause of hunger and overwork is abolished forever. Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plow, he can not run fast enough to catch the rabbits. Yet he is lord to all of the animals. He sets them to work, he gives back to them the bare minimum that will prevent them from starving, and the rest he keeps for himself." pg 29

This quote shows the begining of a revolution, so much is said by it, even by barely saying anything at all.
